Anno 1503 (2002)
The parts of the Anno game that take place during the age of discovery are some of the hardest to understand in the whole game. You may have had trouble when you took charge of your new group, but don’t worry. We’ve all been there.
Since it was the second game in the series and came out four years after Anno 1602, the changes were not as big as you might think. Even so, the game is still a real gem when it comes to games about making cities and managing resources. Since it takes place during the Exploration Era, it puts a lot of emphasis on sending out missions to find new resources, animals, and land to conquer.
Anno 2070 (2011)
Anno 2070 is the first game to take place in the future. It shows how bad things would be if there were a global disaster. The game takes place in a world where climate change has caused a lot of damage. Whether your people live on land or in the water, it’s up to you to make sure they stay alive.
Some fans didn’t like how the game was set in the future at first, but once you get used to the new world and see how good the graphics and plot are, you’ll want to play it again and again.
Anno 2205 (2015)
Anno 2205 is the second game in the series that shows us a possible future for us. In Anno game, you are in charge of a society that is connected to Earth and needs to build a big city on the moon.
The game lets you spread it all the way into space, which is why it is better than the other Anno game set in the future, Anno 2205. Because the game didn’t come out until four years later, the creators got the feedback they needed to make a great futuristic city builder. And they came through.
Anno 1602 (1998)
In the first Anno 1602 game, which came out in 1998 and was the one that started it all, you were in charge of an island colony and had to build and run the city you were in charge of. From managing resources and living to building infrastructure and having fun, everyone who tried the game loved it.
At first, it was hard to figure out, but once you did, you understood how great it was to run the city. But Anno 1602’s pictures aren’t as good as they used to be, and the games that came after it had more time to improve on this great base.
Anno 1701 (2006)
Anno 1701, which is the third game in the series, is one of the most detailed and historically correct games in the whole series. As usual, you are in charge of a colony in the New World, where you have to find the right mix between resources, needs, housing, and, most importantly, public order.
Flappy Bird game takes place in the Age of Enlightenment and adds a new diplomatic tool to the series. It lets you join forces with other players or go to war with them. One of the things that made Anno 2070 possible.
Anno 1404 (2009)
Anno 1404 is without a question one of the best games in the series. But what makes it so memorable? Is it the beautiful and interesting setting, or the fact that you can build cities differently than in the rest of the series?
The game takes place in a magical version of the Middle East, and you can control all the things that will make your city richer. Anno 1404 is also different in two ways from the other games in the series. First, it adds the idea of Quests. Second, it adds the idea of building on multiple levels, which lets you make complicated urban settings.
Anno 1800 (2019)
If you haven’t played Anno 1800 yet but have played other games in the series, think of all the features you wanted were in the game you played and you’ll find them in Anno 1800.
Anno 1800 is a city-building game that takes place during the Industrial Revolution. It is one of the most thorough games you’ll ever play. Not only does it look great, but it also gets the facts about history right. It has some of the most engrossing game play in the whole series. Once you start playing, you won’t stop until you own the whole world.
