- Creating an account in the member portal
- Completing the online self-assessment form to rate oneself against the NER competencies and apply for NER
- Getting two relevant referees who can verify one’s latest work experience
- Having an NER interview with the qualified Engineers Australia assessor
- Receiving outcome notification, and if successful, one will be added to NER.
