On the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 4-door with a V6 engine, Mercedes-Benz designers have redrew the front fascia. Affalterbach’s iconic A-wing construction distinguishes the current AMG GT 43 and AMG GT 53 4-Doors and generates beautiful side intakes that frame a split central entrance. From the C-Class to the GLE-Class, everything has a stylized rendition of this. Perhaps more aerodynamic and more conservative, the new design. The Panamericana grille’s vertical slats are still present as is customary, but the grille aperture is considerably taller.
The grille’s functional component hasn’t gotten any bigger; instead, a black cosmetic item fills the extra height at the bottom. Below is a small central intake, and at the periphery thin vertical intakes take the place of the earlier polygonal intakes. The Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 4-door car‘s exterior is referred to as having a “jet-wing design.” The Aerodynamic Package enables the normal chrome front splitter area’s leading edge to be rendered in carbon fibre or reshaped when altered with other design packages.
A diffuser insert with three regularly spaced slats is housed in the lower bumper of the normal V6 bumper in the back. With the exception of having circular tailpipes rather than the flagship vehicle’s rectangular ones, this design is quite similar to the V8-powered AMG GT 63.
Surprisingly, Mercedes will offer a V8 Styling Package in order to get the V8 look at the front end despite the fact that the back end is so near to the V8 trim’s appearance. With the bigger grille being all slat and lacking the ornamental black underliner, this replaces the V6’s stock front clip with one that imitates the AMG GT 63. The V8 Styling Package adds a horizontal chrome trim line above the diffuser insert while keeping the same lower bumper in the back as on the regular V6 model.
Also noteworthy is the fact that the V8-powered AMG GT 63 4-Door is no longer available in our market, leaving only the 43 and 53 variants. Mercedes made the adjustments known on its global media platform while withholding information about the American market. The V8 Styling Package may be the closest thing American customers can get to a V8-powered trim here while we wait for whatever becomes the U.S. flagship.
The fastback can now accommodate five passengers thanks to an optional rear bench, and in regions where it isn’t already standard, the sunroof will be included as standard equipment. Additionally, wireless smartphone charging in the backseat is built-in. AMG-specific pages have been refreshed and the MBUX infotainment system has undergone yet another improvement. With Dolby Atmos, the Burmester High-End 3D Surround Sound Audio amplifies the sonic intensity of the new twin-spoke AMG Performance Steering Wheel.
