  • Gangotri

  • Kedarnath

Kedarnath Dham is dedicated to the divine Hindu deity lord Shiva, he is to be as the lord of death. According to a legend, the Pandava brothers, after the war of Mahabharta went to this place to seek forgiveness as they killed their dear ones. 

Lord Shiva hid himself as a buffalo, sensing that one brother holded the tail but lord shiva disguised. That’s how this Dham came into existence.

  • Badrinath

It is said about the Badrinath dham that it came into existence because lord Vishnu meditated here and his wife Laxmi protected him from harsh weather in the form of Badri tree. That is how it became the holy abode of lord Vishnu in the form of Badrinath.
