Touch in Sol No Pore Blem Primer
I have combination skin with an oily t-zone and enjoy a more matte, even look. I use a few tricks to balance the oil production and avoid mid-day shine – one of them is applying a mattifying primer even when I don’t wear foundation. The other tricks for oily skin can be found in this video.
The No Pore Blem version is a lightweight formula that promises to hide imperfections such as enlarged pores, fine lines, and breakouts. I find it curious that the marketing materials promise a dewy finish, yet it’s definitely more on a natural / matte side for me.
How to use
- Apply a thin, even layer at the end of your skincare routine

The primer comes in a convenient pump bottle and has a light pink color, which isn’t visible on the skin (at least not on mine). I pick up a floral scent that I like, but it doesn’t linger.
My impressions
I love this primer and so glad I gave Touch in Sol another chance! For what it’s worth, the icy sherbet one went to my friend, and she likes it, so it’s all just a matter of preference.
My favorite way to use No Pore Blem primer is over sunscreens that are otherwise slightly too dewy for my liking. It makes my skin feel soft, smooth, and velvety without any excess oiliness but also without dryness. The primer doesn’t pill with any of the products I paired it with, which is a big win. My skin stays comfortably natural looking the whole day – no oily t-zone and no flaky/dry cheeks. I have used this under BB cream as well with good results, but on a daily basis I stick to just sunscreen and primer.
