Tesla Model 3 interior includes, among others, both aesthetic and autonomy improvements. Six years since its launch and with more than two million units sold worldwide, Tesla has decided to give the Tesla Model 3 parts a facelift with different improvements to make it more attractive to buyers and compete in the best possible way in the market. Without a doubt, this is one of the most anticipated electric vehicles of the year.
The new Tesla Model 3 interior, known internally as Project Highland, features a sleeker look, with a redesigned front and rear, as well as the cabin. Tesla has worked on the aerodynamics of the vehicle to increase its self-sufficiency. In this way, it has managed to reduce wind resistance. So far, these improvements only apply to rear-wheel drive and long-range (LR) versions.
Enhancements in the design of the new Tesla Model 3 parts
The front of the Model 3 has adopted a more aggressive look, with cleaner design lines, new headlight housing and LED daytime running lights. The crease at the edge of the hood, which previously ended under the headlights, is now much more defined and extends towards the fenders.
The side of the Tesla Model 3 parts remains virtually unchanged, while the rear features striking “C”-shaped taillights with the word “Tesla” written between the lights, replacing the brand’s logo. A new multi-spoke wheel design has also been introduced. The range of colours is expanded with the new “Ultra Red” and “Stealth Gray”.
On the other hand, the dimensions mostly remain the same, but the new Model 3 has grown one inch in length, reaching 185.8 inches (4.72 meters), while its height has been reduced by a tenth of an inch, remaining at 56.7 inches (1.44 m). Ground clearance, on the other hand, has decreased slightly, going from 5.5 inches (140 mm) to 5.4 inches (138 mm), according to the spec sheet.
Tesla Model 3 interior, a key element
The estimated range under the WLTP cycle for the new updated rear-wheel drive Model 3 with 18-inch wheels is 344 miles (554 kilometers), while the LR variant reaches 421 miles (678 km). This is an increase of 11 to 12% compared to current models, which have a WLTP range of 305 and 374 miles, respectively.

With the optional 19-inch “Nova” wheels, the rear-drive Model 3 reaches 319 miles (513 km) on a single charge on the WLTP cycle, while the LR version has a range of 391 miles (629 km). Performance figures have remained the same, with 0-62 mph acceleration taking 6.1 seconds for the rear-drive model and 4.4 seconds for the all-wheel-drive LR variant.
The new rear-wheel drive version – with 19-inch wheels – consumes 13.2 kilowatt-hours per 62 miles (100 km) on the European test cycle, while the LR uses 14.0 kWh for the same distance.
Other important features
The Tesla Model 3 interior has adopted a slightly different look, with a design incorporating aluminium and fabric materials and is somewhat more diverse due to its luxury. Redesigned ambient lighting covers the entire cabin, and Tesla claims the cabin is quieter thanks to acoustic glass and improved soundproofing materials.
The digital space inside the vehicle has increased. The 15.4-inch center screen maintains its size but now features thinner edges for a larger viewing area. In addition, a new eight-inch rear screen has been added that integrates climate, ventilation and entertainment controls.

Tesla has also replaced the steering column-mounted paddles with steering wheel-mounted controls, similar to the S and X models. One detail to note: the LR model will now enjoy a sound system with 17 speakers, three more than before, with two subwoofers and two amplifiers. The rear-drive model has nine, with a subwoofer and amplifier.
Availability of Tesla Model 3 parts Deliveries of the updated Tesla Model 3 parts were instigated at the end of October in Europe and the Middle East. Tesla is expected to announce details about the model and its availability in North America soon. This car is, therefore, already underway at the Shanghai Gigafactory, Tesla’s largest producer of electric vehicles and a global export hub.
