Hero Glamour Features

Hero has upgraded the Glamour bike with a fancy new digital console. This console tells you stuff like how far you’ve traveled, how fast you’re going, and how much mileage you’re getting in real-time. Plus, they’ve added a charging port for your phone, which makes life easier.

Now, if you go for the Glamour Xtec model, you’re in for a treat. It’s got some cool features that other bikes in its class don’t have. Like, you can connect it to your phone via Bluetooth and use Google Maps for turn-by-turn navigation. There’s also a gear position indicator, so you always know which gear you’re in. And get this, there’s a sensor that can detect if the bike falls and automatically turns off the engine to keep you safe. Oh, and if you forget to put the side stand up, it won’t let you start the engine, which is pretty neat.

On top of all that, the Xtec version comes with a snazzy LED headlight, something you won’t find on the standard version. And to top it off, you can choose from four different colors: Sports Red, Tornado Grey, Techno Blue, and Radiant Red.

Hero Glamour Suspension and Brakes

The Hero Glamour has been upgraded with a new diamond-type frame. This frame is connected to a telescopic front fork and twin rear shock absorbers, making for a smoother ride. The bike now offers 14% more travel in the front and 10% more in the rear, enhancing its comfort and stability.

For braking, the base variant of the Glamour comes with a 240mm disc at the front and a 130mm drum at the rear. This setup ensures reliable stopping power. Additionally, the ground clearance has been increased to 180mm, which is 30mm higher than the previous model (BS4 Glamour), allowing for better maneuverability over bumps and obstacles.

There’s also an option to have a front disc brake for improved braking performance. The rear tyre has been widened to 100-section, and it is equipped with a drum brake for effective stopping when needed. These enhancements contribute to a safer and more enjoyable riding experience.

Hero Glamour Engine Specifications

The Hero Glamour has a strong 125cc engine that makes riding fun. It gives you 10.83 horsepower at 7,500 revolutions per minute (rpm) and 10.6 Newton-meters of torque at 6,000 rpm. This engine is great because it balances power and efficiency well, making it perfect for everyday rides and casual trips.

Now, it comes with i3S start-stop technology, which is a fancy way of saying it automatically turns off when you stop and starts again when you move. Plus, it has a 5-speed gearbox, so you can easily switch between speeds.

The bike’s structure is solid too, with a diamond-type frame, telescopic fork, and dual shock absorbers. It rolls on 18-inch wheels, providing stability and a smooth ride.
